Houston is the most populated city in the southern state of Texas. It is located in the southern part of the state, close to Trinity Bay, which opens to the Gulf of Mexico. Best known for being home to NASA headquarters, and the phrase "Houston, we have a problem", this modern city of 2.2 million people also plays host to the Texas Medical Center, one of the largest of its kind in the world. Not just a subtropical holiday destination in possession of the third tallest skyline in North America, Houston also boasts an enviable art scene.

In addition to the static arena, ArCH also holds weekend walking tours that expose visitors and residents alike the architectural treasures the city has to offer.
- The American Cowboy Museum strives to preserve the heritage of the west, celebrating all the different cultures that made the area what it is today. Tour guides dress in historic garb to share stories and walk guests through the various exhibits.
- Within the expansive 1920s home of philanthropist Ima Hogg lies the Museum of Fine Arts. The collection includes decorative arts and paintings from the early 1600s until the 19th century, adorning the walls and halls of the 28 period-specific rooms.
